Grand opening of AirSport: Saturday, October 13th, 2012 10am-9pm

We invite you to play at the new airsoft field in Atlanta - the grand opening of AirSport, at Discover Mills Mall off I-85 North. Join us, Airsoft Atlanta, as we raffle off a TON of airsoft guns and prizes from top manufacturers such as KWA, Tokyo Marui, TSD, Airsoft Innovations, Dye Precision, Echo1 USA, Elite Force, and many more!

AirSport is an awesome new 24,000 square foot airsoft field focusing more on fitness and teamwork instead of Milsim play. The modular field setup is perfect for unlimited configurations with barriers that can change the field dynamics on the fly. No more stationary objects, walls, and obstacles that are static on the field. The modular walls change from game to game, ensuring unique game play every event. Field goals and objectives are ever changing as well. Come join us and try the field out!

Where? AirSport @ Discover Mills Mall, off Sugarloaf Pkwy (I-85 north, just google it) - park near the Burlington Coat Factory mall entrance. 24,000 sq feet airsoft field!

When? Saturday, October 13th. Doors open at 10am - 9pm. Airsoft Atlanta will be raffling off prizes from 12pm-7pm or so (as supplies last!). We may stay late playing as well.

Cost? FREE PLAY if you have your own equipment, gun, full face mask, etc. Rental equipment available, contact AirSport for details on field costs.

Prizes? Yes, Airsoft Atlanta has procured a bunch of prizes, including 3 KWA guns (2 AEG, 1 gas), Tokyo Marui AEG, 2 Tornado Grenades, TSD Sniper Rifle, 15 KWA T-Shirts, Dye face masks, Elite Force guns and accessories, and finally Echo 1 is donating the M28 Sniper Rifle and a M4 AEG The raffle is free to enter, only for people playing the field on Saturday. If you try out the field, you will be entered into the raffle. Chances of winning some awesome swag are very high!

Ever since the launch of the original A-TACS Camo Pattern, people have been asking for a green variant of the pattern. The easy answer would have been to create a simple re-color of the existing pattern and release it as a green variant. Taking that approach may have been easier and faster however, it would not have been the correct way to create an effective temperate climate pattern. The characteristic environmental elements and shapes found in greener, more temperate settings needed to be addressed.

The answer was found in the creation of an entirely new pattern based on the A-TACS Camo’s unique “pattern within a pattern” concept. The addition of simulated depth was also necessary in order to add visual disruption to further break up the human silhouette.

Utilizing numerous shades of green sampled directly from a variety of forested and transitional terrain elements combined with various shades of earth, A-TACS FG Camo was developed to be effective in a wide range of temperate environments.

Tokyo Marui M93R Airsoft gun AEP The airsoft H&K MP7 AEG is the economical plastic gearbox electric gun by Heckler & Koch (Umarex licensed). The package includes the 7.2v battery and charger to get started. While this isn't the full metal gearbox version ($200+), it will shoot reliably and hold its own in CQB environments and backyard battles just fine.
