Lowcap/ Midcap
Low and Mid Capacity mags are those that hold 150 BBs or less inside
their feeding mechanism. These types of magazines use a push-down spring
that is wound serpentine-like through the mag to hold the BBs in place.
The benefits to these are that they experience jams or breakages less
often, the down side being that they don't hold as many BBs. Lowcaps
usually hold 30 rounds and are often referred to as "Real Caps".
Hicap
High Capacity magazines are those that hold 150 BBs or greater inside their reservoir. These type of magazines require a tension wound spring or electrically actuated feeding device to feed the BBs into the AEG. The benefits to these are that they are able to hold a large amount of BBs, the down side being that once you shoot a few, the BBs rattle around the mag when you start moving around. No stealth possible here.
