Featuring a few durability upgrades, the AK47 is extremely easy to use and is a great AEG for both beginner and intermediate players. The full length barrel and fixed position fullstock makes this rifle perfect for medium to long distance target acquisition. Everything except for the barrel and magazine are plastic composites. The included magazine holds 600 rounds and there are plenty of replacements available. The battery compartment is located inside the buttstock of the rifle and is very easy to install. Just push down firmly on the top of the stock plate and slide it downwards. The battery will slide into the exposed compartment. Echo 1 M16 VN AEG (JP-15)
Produced by Echo 1 out of China, this airsoft gun is a model variant of the Model 16 assault rifle. This particular model incorporates a full size buttstock and a longer rifle length barrel. As a Vietnam style variant, it incorporates a non-removable carry handle, triangular shaped hand guards, and a shorter "20 round" magazine. (Instead of the normal 300 round Hicap, the one included is a 190 round edition.) The battery fits inside the buttstock of the rifle and requires few adjustments for a comfortable fit. Despite being plastic, the body is able to take the normal use and abuse that occurs during a typical game day. Capable of either semi-automatic or full automatic fire, this gun is perfect for the entry level or intermediate airsoft player. Excellent Airsoft gun to start off with or for Vietnam style players.

The SOCOM 16 by Echo 1 is the new face to an old skool infantry rifle, the M14. This particular edition features a shorter barrel, matte black furniture, and a modified flash hider. This edition features a very strong fiberglass stock that is durable to all but the most vicious of abuse. The receiver assembly and most of the barrel is metal and is quite durable. Different from most firearms, the M14's safety switch is not on the selector group, but actually in front of the trigger guard. Full forward and the safety is off, push all the way back into the trigger guard and the safety is on. This rifle comes with a 440 round high capacity magazine and replacements are readily available. When choosing a replacement mag, don't be fooled, the G&G and Classic Army M14 magazines WILL NOT fit. You must use either Marui or Marui clone magazines. The battery compartment is located inside the stock and is accessed by flipping up the butt plate cover then opening the small door on the plate. Airsoft players love to use this rifle with their Vietnam era kit and recommend getting the scope mount and a wicked optic for that cool sniper look. The battery included with this rifle is a NiCd type. It is recommended to get a charger with a discharge function for optimum performance.

The motor grip and stock are a a blend of nylon reinforced plastic. The included magazine holds 470 rounds and there are plenty of replacements available. The battery compartment is located in the crane stock of the rifle and can be difficult to install the first few times. Pinch the two tabs located just under the buttplate and remove the butt plate itself. Line the cell groups together so that the longer ones are on the outside tubes. Slide the cell groups into the tubes so that no wires are pinch or twisted. Close it up and you're done!

The lower receiver, receiver cover, scope rail, barrel assembly, and stock tube are metal and the magazine, motor grip, and stock are polycarbonate.The included magazine is a waffle style high capacity that can hold 600 rounds. Never fear though, for there are plenty of replacements available. The battery compartment is located under the receiver cover and is easy to install. Push down on the rail and slide it forward to unlock it. Then push the button on the back of the receiver cover and swing it upwards. Install the battery than reverse the procedure.
