G&G GR16 A3 Rifle AEG The GR16 A3 Rifle by G&G Armament is a great metal body M16 for both the intermediate and advanced airsoft enthusiast. The GR16 A3 is a great replica of the U.S. military's standard infantry rifle, the M16. Manufactured out of Taiwan, these guns are a great alternative and better quality than similar models made in China. With a full length barrel and full size stock, this rifle works best in medium to long distance engagements. The upper receiver, lower receiver, carry handle, and magazine are all highly durable aluminum alloy and steel. The rest of the exterior parts as appropriate are a durable mixture of nylon and fiberglass. The mechbox has been factory upgraded with zinc gears, 8mm bearings, high tension spring, and a 25000 rpm Hi-torque long axis motor. The lower receiver features an engraved G&G logo for easy identification. The rifle comes with the standard G&G high capacity 450 round magazine and there are plenty of other replacements available. The battery compartment is located inside the buttstock of the rifle and is fairly easy to install. It is accessed by opening the small door on the butt plate and then simply plug and play. Airsoft players recommend this rifle for open field play as a Designated Marksman Rifle. The long barrel with the respectable fps allows this rifle to be accurate out at longer distances.
