Hardball II Spring Action Shotgun-

Intro- This is THE BEST spring shotgun on the market today for the money. Yes, you can get a good Marui for over $200+. . This is a replica of a sawed off version of the 870 style shotgun. As you can see in the picture above, it's hard to tell which one is real and airsoft. The above picture is a REAL Class-3 shotgun owned by a friend of mine (100% legal, all NFA paperwork approved). It was a conversion of a Remington 870 by G-Man Weaponry in Georgia. The real shotgun also has a laser and flashlight added. That is a real gun, now the one below is the airsoft version. The size is 1:1 scale, unlike the box which states it is a 4/5 scale. This is the real nice airsoft replica!

Function- The shotgun works via spring pumping action. Kinda Like a real shotgun. However, it only shoots one bb at a time (not multiple). Just pretend you're shooting a slug round, instead of birshot! The pump action is very smooth and easy to do. You can really pump it fast to pull off a bunch of shots. The accuracy is very good and range is excellent. The gun does have hopup installed. This gun is made in Korea, which is infamous for making low FPS guns. However, this model is made for the USA market. Hence, the FPS is around 250 with .20 gram BBs. A bit higher FPS is achieved with .12 BBs. The gun works with a tube style magazine, which is seated under the barrel of the gun. The magazine holds 30 shots.

Perks- There are not many shotgun choices on the airsoft market today. But I am happy to say this is one great shotgun! It is much better than the SPAS-12 and 870 shorty we currently have. The pump action is reinforced with steel parts. Solid construction and strong plastics are used. The hopup give it much further range over most guns. Is this a good starter gun? Yes, very much so! It will give you years of shooting, as long as you don't drop it or smash it up against a tree. Both .12 and .20 BB seem to work well in the gun. The choice is yours. Most customers seem to say the .12 work best overall (range). Which will give you an FPS of around 300.
