Just push down firmly on the top of the stock plate and slide it downwards. The battery will slide into the exposed compartment. Tokyo Marui Type 89 AEG The Tokyo Marui Type 89 rifle finds its roots deep within the home country, the Japanese Self Defense Force in particular. The Type 89 was designed as an upgrade to the American made M16. Incorporating all the original features of the M16, the Type 89 has an innovative burst setting that uses a mechanical burst rather than the more failure prone mosfet used by other manufacturers. Most of the body components (with the exception of the bi-pod) are polycarbonate reinforced with metal tabs to withstand most user abuse. This rifle comes with the standard Tokyo Marui low capacity mag, but the high capacity replacements hold 420 rounds. To install the battery simply push out the pin located on the on the front of the hand guard near the front sight. The two hand guard halfs can then be slid forward and off. Once the battery is installed, just reverse the procedure and you're done. Airsoft players love this gun for its unique look and three-round burst capability. *Note: Because of the stock, non-reinforced nature of Tokyo Marui products, we do not recommend using a 9.6v battery in this AEG. The Classic Army M15A4 SOCOM AEG was designed as an adaptation to the standard US infantry rifle. Built for easy use in less than ideal conditions, the airsoft edition is no different. The M15A4 SOCOM incorporates a few extras that the original model did not enjoy. The barrel has been shortened to 8.5 inches and a one-piece 4 inch RIS unit replaced the handguard, the carry handle was also removed and replaced with a flip-up removable one in its place leaving the rest of the rail open for mounting numerous optic options. In addition the buttstock was removed and replaced with a short 416 style buttstock. The internal components have been factory upgraded and consist of a hardened steel gear set, upgraded spring, hi speed/hi torque motor, and 7mm bearings. The upper receiver, lower receiver, barrel assembly, and RIS unit are all high quality and durable metal. As with all Classic Army M15 series rifles, the lower receiver is stamped with a licensed ArmaLite trademark. The included high capacity magazine holds 300 rounds, but there are numerous replacement magazines that can hold 450 rounds or more. The battery compartment is in the buttstock of the rifle can be accessed by removing the stock plate. Produced by Echo 1 out of China, this airsoft gun is a model variant of the Model 16 assault rifle. This particular model incorporates a full size buttstock and a longer rifle length barrel. As a Vietnam style variant, it incorporates a non-removable carry handle, triangular shaped hand guards, and a shorter "20 round" magazine. (Instead of the normal 300 round Hicap, the one included is a 190 round edition.) The battery fits inside the buttstock of the rifle and requires few adjustments for a comfortable fit. Despite being plastic, the body is able to take the normal use and abuse that occurs during a typical game day. Capable of either semi-automatic or full automatic fire, this gun is perfect for the entry level or intermediate airsoft player. Excellent Airsoft gun to start off with or for Vietnam style players.

The SOCOM 16 by Echo 1 is the new face to an old skool infantry rifle, the M14. This particular edition features a shorter barrel, matte black furniture, and a modified flash hider. This edition features a very strong fiberglass stock that is durable to all but the most vicious of abuse. The receiver assembly and most of the barrel is metal and is quite durable. Different from most firearms, the M14's safety switch is not on the selector group, but actually in front of the trigger guard. Full forward and the safety is off, push all the way back into the trigger guard and the safety is on. This rifle comes with a 440 round high capacity magazine and replacements are readily available. When choosing a replacement mag, don't be fooled, the G&G and Classic Army M14 magazines WILL NOT fit. You must use either Marui or Marui clone magazines. The battery compartment is located inside the stock and is accessed by flipping up the butt plate cover then opening the small door on the plate. This model features high fps, 16 inch barrel, and a multi-position telescoping stock making it perfect for medium to long distance target engagement. The upper receiver, lower receiver, motor grip, and stock are reinforced plastic and the RIS unit, barrel assembly, and magazine are metal. The included magazine holds 300 rounds and there are plenty of replacements available. The battery is located inside an AN/PEQ box and although it is a large style battery it has 4/5 Sub-C cells and a small tamiya connector instead of a large one. The included battery is a NiCd type. For optimal performance it is recommended to get a charger with a discharge function. Echo 1 Red Star AK-74 CPM AEG (JP-23)
The AK-74 CPM by Echo 1 (nickname Krinkov) airsoft gun is based off the standard Soviet infantry rifle. The AK is also the standard rifle of many 3rd world countries and evil bad guys. Meant to be capable of firing a large volume of ammunition at any costs, the airsoft version happily takes up the mantle of the real steel. This edition features an aluminum lower receiver, receiver cover, folding stock, and barrel assembly. The standard full stock has been removed and replaced with a metal folding one. The magazine that comes with the rifle is a 600 round high capacity one and there are plenty of replacements available. The battery compartment is located inside the receiver cover. To access, push the button of the back of the cover and swing it upwards The battery will lie on top of the mechbox. The motor grip and stock are a a blend of nylon reinforced plastic. The included magazine holds 470 rounds and there are plenty of replacements available. The battery compartment is located in the crane stock of the rifle and can be difficult to install the first few times. Pinch the two tabs located just under the buttplate and remove the butt plate itself. Line the cell groups together so that the longer ones are on the outside tubes.
